Friendly atmosphere. Welcoming. Great instructors, most of whom are very encouraging and allow each person to do what works for them. They also keep the classes updated and fun. Only one instructor doesn’t seem open to new ideas. I hate to say it, but Emilie Schmeling falls short in this area. Other than that, I look forward to going to the Y. Virginia Clay is a happy face to greet us in the morning. It’s a great place to work out and meet new people.

Great classes and friendly atmosphere.
It was a friendly environment and very clean.
I only use the water aerobics class at this time. The instructor is not only extremely competent, but she is as patient as a saint. There are a group of people who are upfront, very near her, who talk almost constantly. These people have hearing aids, so they speak louder than normal to each other as well as to other nearby exercisers.
Now I know that they need the socialization that this class brings, and I applaud that, however, it is very disrespectful to the instructor that they do within 4 to 6 feet from her. It also makes it difficult to hear her. Apparently, she has addressed this multiple times, but it falls on deaf ears.
I think it's time for administration to act

The staff and members are great! I do aqua fitness and love Carla. Denise and Emily are also favorites. The lifeguards are efficient and always helpful.
