I wish they had a room available for people with disabilities. Once these kids age out of the childcare room there is no option. My son has autism and I’d like to bring him when I work out. I’ve asked about this option for years. Also, I’d like to see the YMCA have more summer camps for teens and adults with disabilities.
Relaxed atmosphere, generally family friendly. I like how new exercise machines are added, they are a welcome improvement. I would like another stair stepping machine added to the ones currently in place. Sometimes it seems like people are “napping” on machines and playing on their phones, I hate waiting for these folks to finish, possibly some extra machines would help. The YMCA employees are great! Very friendly & encouraging. My family basically uses the exercise gym, no pool usage or classes, it would be nice to have a cheaper rate, possibly pay more if you use more. Overall a great experience.

The staff are so friendly. They greet you by name when you walk in, which I truly appreciate. The gym is always clean. It’s a great place for families or inviduals. I highly recommend it.

I like to say that the North East YMCA is a fantastic place with wonderful friendly staff and friendly respectful "Y" users. This "Y' has good equipment and attractive facilities.
The family pool is great for all ages. This "young " 81 Y user knows that this pool is invaluable in doing safe but serious exercise. It is loud at times but also enjoyable to see the many kiddoes having fun in the pool. I observe that some pool participants that have some difficulties happily using the pool for their fun & exercise. I believe many kids have swimming lessons and learn to correctly swim.
