It’s great for younger kids!! Love that the water is heated (great for parents). It’s clean. The lifeguards were professional and engaged. I was also very grateful to see older adults, probably managers, present and checking on things regularly. Especially after the incident at Glen Oaks pool, I will be more cognizant of older adults/managers checking on things and testing of the pool.

Fantastic facilities and would reccomend to anyone. I was actually surprised at the number of ammenities that this YMCA had, with pools indoor and out, sauna and a great exercise area. The only improvements that I can see is that provided towels for the showers and pool would be nice and that there could be another squat racks or two in the weight area. Overall, a good YMCA facility.
I like how family centered it is. I also appreciate how attentive and involved the guards are at Calypso Cove. My son has so much fun and is so worn out when we leave. I love that part!
It's all about family and kids
The environment was very clean and well maintained. All the lifeguards are so kind! They do a great job of watching over the kids and are very helpful and patient when giving kids instructions. The snack stand was excellent with a lot of good options.
Best place for a family fun!
We really appreciate how clean and well cared for Calypso Cove is. It is perfect for our first and second graders. We love that there are separate lifeguards for the slides, Whirlpool area, obstacle course, and splash zones. Although we still try to watch both of our children like hawks it is nice to have multiple eyes watching all of the children. It’s a bit of a drive for us but well worth it.
You can work out and go swimming all in one place and everyone is friendly
