The friendships, the family atmosphere, (happy, things are getting back to normal) the administration at the Clark Co, Indiana YMCA is great, will help in any way. I hope that soon possibly cooking and healthy living classes could resume. Myself after having a Heart Attack and recovering from it makes me realize how important exercise , eating right, and living well help all of us. 17 years ago after I got out of Cardiac ReHab joining the YMCA was one of the first things I did. Also learning to cook healthier (less fat, less red meat) was important to me , to live longer and healthier unlike some of my friends who went to have more health issues. This is why I continue going and will be 70 years old this May. Thanks YMCA for your help

I only use the lap swim pool at Clark County. I have a 26 years old total knee replacement and I'm useless without access to that pool.
Availability
I like how YMCA has went out of its way to make the facility safe during this COVID period. I also appreciate the staff going the extra mile to keep the place open and hospitable during this trying time.

Friendly staff, the great hours, and the variety of equipment.
Employees are super friendly and helpful. I like the way locker rooms are set up with separate changing rooms etc. Have enjoyed classes in the warm water pool and trying to expand my classes to other areas. Wish Thai chi was offered more than 1 day but thankful for class. Used to belong to la fitness in Indy area, the ymca seems to be very competitive so far.

The water Pilates class in the therapy pool is amazing. The instructors are excellent, and really know their “stuff.”
Also, the entire atmosphere at the Y is so welcoming, and it feels like coming home the minute you walk through the door.

Good staff, always friendly. Exercise equipment is usually kept in good functional condition. Great value for the money, especially since my health insurance pays the bill.
Everyone is so friendly. The facility is very clean. I like the programs that are available for seniors.
