With the Y integrated into GE Appliance Park, It's TOO easy to get a healthy work out in before going home. i go the the Y 1-4times/week depending on season.

Everything but the dry laundry situation. I pay $15 a month for my laundry to be done there cuz I'm there two to three times a week so it's very convenient. But often times the laundry comes back damp, especially if I exercise 2 days in a row .I have repeatedly pointed it out to management and they have been very helpful at the time, but we need a permanent fix to the situation.. PS I've heard other members speak to this issue also. Thanks very much.
What I like most about the YMCA is affordability, inclusivity, and culture sensitivity.

The people both the early morning staff and the members there. I’ve met some very great friends there.
I have to say, the Downtown YMCA is without doubt the best YMCA facility I have ever been to. It is superior in every way. Most importantly, I have never been in any building or hospital cleaner than the Downtown YMCA. It is always immaculate. The staff is/are always helpful and friendly. The equipment is always in superb condition and clean. I don’t have a negative thing to say about it.

So many weights and machines. Love that it’s big enough that people keep distance, even after Covid. Even after being retired 3 years, I drive to downtown Y from my house in Georgetown, IN because I like the gym so much better. Though Y in New Albany is much closer, they are (to me) too crowded and don’t have as many weight options.
I love that it is close to me. The atmosphere is so friendly. I can come anytime of the day. I love it.
