My daughter had a great week. All of the staff members were welcoming, and they did a great job handling a very hot week. She can't wait to return again next summer. Her favorite things at the camp were canoeing and being able to play with the goats.
My son had a great summer with Camp Carter. Swimming, fishing, and archery were his favorite activities. He made new friends and got out of his comfort zone by climbing the walk wall and canoeing

The fact that there are so many outdoor activities and they get to go swimming everyday. I also like the clinics or specials that they can pick as far as interest for the week
Love the outdoor activities, engagement with counselors and friendliness of everyone. Biggest improvement I'd recommend is with the meals- there are very few fruits and vegetables. I'd love to see less processed food and more nutrient-dense, balanced options. Same for the store- I know it's a treat but would be great to offer fruit cups, veggie straws, fruit popsicles, dried fruit, popcorn, etc. That's my biggest hang up with the program.
Our kids absolutely LOVE Camp Carter!!! It also keeps them busy every day and reduces electronic time a lot each week. All around happy family. ❤️
Camp Carter has been great for our 5 year old. He has become much more independent and really enjoyed the camp staff. We gave him several choices for the last week of summer and he chose to return to Camp Carter.

That the kids get to choose activities
No electronics used. The kids are outside in nature.
For the past six years our kids have been apart of Camp Cater. From overnight camp to horse lessons at your equestrian center. We are a military family, my husband is already retired and I am on leave for my retirement from the Navy. Our family has been blessed to call your camp home. We are moving soon and next week will be our last lessons at the EQ center. It has been a privilege to get to know your staff. Ms. Megan and her mom at the EQ center we have gotten to know the most and it is sad that we have to leave them. The kids will miss them so much and will miss attending overnight camp. Thank you for all that you have done for us during our time here.
