One problem is the road that comes to the camp gets blocked with other cars at another camp and it makes it dangerous to overtake them to get to YMCA camp. That is a disaster waiting to happen
All the things Camp Cater has to offer is amazing. My kids truly enjoy Camp Carter and look forward to summer camp every year.
I love Camp Carter is such a beautiful place with so many activities for the kids. The YMCA upholds Christian values and try to teach a healthy living lifestyle while instilling social justice and integrity. My granddaughter has attended last 3 summers and she probably will return next summer.

Camp Carter has been amazing experience for my son! He comes home excited with all the new activities he has been able to try as well as new games to play at home. We will definitely be back next summer!

Camp times running 7 to 6 really helps working families. The outdoor activities get kids moving for the summer and never bored.

I like the friends that I made, the pool, challenge course, and muddy tug of war and going to the point.

I like the variety of activities. It keeps my daughter busy. I hear about all the cool things (canoeing, archery, horseback riding, hiking, etc.) she does in a day and wish I could go to camp with her.

I feel like my child matures so much being at the over night camp. He becomes more independent and learns about things while having a blast. There are honestly not enough good things to say about Camp Carter.
Equestrian program
We haven’t done day camp, but weeklong overnight. Amp a few times. My kids love it and talk about it year round. im sure we will be back next year!

Everyone at the YMCA and Camp Carter programs have been professional, helpful, flexible, and friendly. I have trusted the YMCA with the care of both of my children and they have always been reliable and my kids have loved being part of the YMCA programs. It's truly an asset to families and the community.

This was the 1st year my daughter, age 14, attended Camp Carter. She had so much fun and enjoyed meeting new people, that the 1st thing she said when we picked her up was that she wanted to return next year!!
