I love that the Y offeres a league with emphasis placed on learning the sport. I do however have a complaint about the jersey size. I talked with somebody on the phone and said my son needed an adult M jersey, I was asked to repeat that and he was given a Y medium and would have looked ridiculous if it wasn't for a team member switching with him (team memever had YL) it was still too small but not as bad. My son is 10 but he's almost 5'2" and weighs 130 pounds. Please pay attention to sizes as this almost ruined the season for him.

Classes offered for all levels of ability. Equipment kept functional (except the leg press unfortunately) . It isi alswys clean and the staff are always welcoming and helpful
My husband and I are in our 70s and we love the padded upper walkway in the gymnasium. We can take our walks in comfortable temperatures and watch the Pickle Ball action at the same time. Everyone is pleasant and helpful from the greeters at the front desk to the folks that are there for exercise.

People at hood county Ymca are always very helpful with whatever your health issues may be An have multiple programs to stay healthy regardless of age Covid caused a cutback of nighttime classes
