Fun
Been going to Y for 21 years, now 86 years old. Keeps me energetic and flexible. Plus the companionship is needed by all. Instructor is great, and keeps it fun and interesting. The month-end luncheon is always good for all. There are classes for all levels of ability for participants. SO, I will keep coming as long as I can. There are a few in their 90's. Love the YMCA. Crystal worked with me a couple of times - she was recommended by a friend - she's very interested in your goals and how to achieve them - very supportive and wants to see you progress - your facility is clean and definitely has a variety of equipment - you can be assured there will be a machine you can work out on - staff is friendly and willing to answer questions , as are the other clients
Programs for kids are great. Just wish this location had an indoor gym for volleyball & basketball
I enjoy gentle yoga and the water exercise in the summer. The pool is great but could use some maintenance

work out group classes
i just became a member and started with the Aqua Fit class. I love it! Since the pool closed, I will be coming inside and utilizing the tread mills. Walking is a very good exercise and it's good for all body parts.
I love the machines & lockers. I DO wish y'all had a year-round pool, though.
The people are friendly and helpful. Line dancing is great fun!
A group from our Silver Sneakers class (amazingly instructed by Donna) gathered for lunch today to celebrate Shirley's 90th birthday.
To paraphrase Shirley's own words, when asked what her healthy, longevity secret is she stated; the secret to living to 90 is to jog for as many years as you can, and when you can no longer jog, join the YMCA and go as often as they open the doors.
I go to Donna's Silver Sneakers class and Carol's Gentle Yoga class. These two instructors are so gifted in their knowledge and class instruction skills. Just check out how many regular attendees they have in their classes.
