Work out equipment & parking & over all access to the "Y"
What happen to all the clocks in the work out areas?
Two year absence from the "Y" because of COVID-19 until now starting back.
Would rather see everyone with mask or at least know they have had their shots.
I like the atmosphere staff and different programs this place offers
My decades of being a member (30/40 years) from my early adulthood to now in my senior years (will be 70 years old this year) I have only swam in the pool, used the hot wirlpool, locker room and showers. Never been motavated to use any of the other items available to me. No one has ever encouraged me to use the equipment or guided me on how to use the equipment correctly or lead me to belive it was benificial for me. I learned how to swim in collage and my swim instructor tought us about all the health benifits.
I love going to work out at the Y” the only thing I would ask is to stay open longer by the time I get out of work sometimes the why is already close😢other then that everything is good. Thank you Y👍🏽
The swimming pool is a great place for lap swimmers. All ways open and the water temperature is not hot like many YMCAs.
Almost everything, I like the hours, I am an early morning person and 5:30 is great. The facilities are good, the equipment is good. I think some things need a little repair. I did my first Yoga class. I hope it gets easier. The pool looks great. I like seeing the kids there on Saturday's playing basketball.
Good feeling going to the Downtown Y,
Stan Bass
such great equipment and people. Thank you for being there.

I have not yet participated in the Y in downtown Fort Worth. However we were greeted at the front desk by several very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The pool looks wonderful and I am sure my husband will use it.
The class offerings were very interesting. SilverSneakers and chair yoga classes are classes I hope to attend .
Friendly staff, facility well maintained, and parking is easy
I like the facilities and the historical feel of the building.
I am a big fan of fitness classes. That is the single biggest reason I have kept my membership. Covid wrecked the classes and I can see where we have recently added some classes. But even before Covid, I think the YMCA does a poor job advertising and marketing the fitness classes. I think this contributes to why many classes to not make it. I think the YMCA assumes everyone goes to the schedule. Below are some simple suggestions.
1) There should be selective push notifications when new classes begin or selective spotlights on existing classes that explain the class or maybe someone celebrating how the class has helped them.
2) The public website fitness schedule is often out of date, not reflecting new classes. When any of the following changes occur, both the (1) YMCA APP and (2) public website need to be updated.
>New Class
>Change in Class Date or Time
>Change in Instructor
3) Classes should be periodically announced by the front desk to drive new attendees who may not be thinking of fitness classes. A brief "Hello YMCA Members, in 15 minutes we are having a Yoga Class in the Fitness Studio". Please stop in a check it out."
Safe place
Friendly staff
Great machines
Pool wow
Check out this gym
I like the instructors, with the classes I have taken
The square footage of the gym. Wish a new YMCA could be built in Saginaw. I don’t use the boat club on because so small. Love the steam room
I don't do the programs. I go to workout on the exercise equipment and relax in the steam room and spa. However, on the down side you've never re-installed the speed and heavy bags in the track area. Also, why haven't started providing towels?
25 M pool and weight rooms
I love the pool! Open all year long! I like the machines available for workouts. And the staff is friendly.
Friendly staff. Clean. Best pool in Tarrant County.
Workout Classes and machines. Friendly, helpful staff.
As a longtime member of the Downtown facility, I like the variety of equipment offered and cleanliness of the same. Members also continue to be courteous during these COVID-impacted times.
Please may we have a water aerobics in the evening, for at least three times week?
Variety of programs, friendly and helpful staff, and great equipment.
I am not enrolled in any programs. I come over to exercise on the machines. The whole place is friendly and upbeat. We all seem to follow a set etiquette; mindful of keeping areas safe and clean. I am 70 years old and appreciate the respect people show one another. I have my membership through my health provider. Very happy with the Y.
Works around my schedule
Pool and pool area very clean and well maintained and life guards are very conscientious.
The benefits are AWESOME! Although hard to measure because each component of the classes I take are different, the end result is the AWESOME! (not awesomeness but AWESOME) From the moment I enrolled as a member, I knew that this was a YMCA that was extraordinary in all aspects. From the helpfulness and friendliness at the front counter, to the the lady (I forgot her name) who gave me a tour, to the lady (I forgot her name, too) who assisted me with the app, the ladies and subs who teach the 7 classes I participate with expertise and encouragement, to the different class members with their dedication and inspiration, all rolled into AWESOME! All I can say is WHATCHAGONNADO!! JOIN THE METRO YMCA! and leave with the biggest healthiest smile ever!
Great facilities and personnel!
When will towel service return ?

Have not participated in any classes, but I like all the exercise equipment.
