Great
Body balance and pickle ball are my favorites and the people running those programs also.
Everything:
Helpful staff (most important)
Good machines
Good class options.
I have recommended the Y to several people.
Good variety of classes and teachers.
Warm historic atmosphere
My wife Swims and I play racketball 3 days a week - and we are OLD. So many people -of all ages, ethnicities, and races - actively engage in all sorts of fitness programs, and the enthusiastic excitement and the sound of chortling children throughhout the building make the Y a welcoming and friendly home away from home. We love it.
Pool and exercise rooms

Best bang for thr buck when it comes to gym memberships. Programs and activities for the whole family.
It has a variety of programs and activities to choose from. It’s not far from where I live and makes it convenient to drive close to home.
I’ve been a member for years. Started back in the 80’s took a break and became a member again. Also, my son went to the YMCA for 2 1/2 years before entering public school and played several sports there. It was something that gave him experience for sports and to have great sportsmanship in playing. Win or lose everyone is a winner.🙂
Very good atmosphere, friendly people enough equipment to use.

The swimming pool is all I use and it is great.
Haven't participated in any programs or activities. Just like the facility and the personnel.
Great would like more classes. Water board yoga is a must.
Friendliness of staff;. massages with Dayo; whirlpool; doing my senior water aerobics
I have back problems and walking laps in the pool is good exercise and invigorating .
Downtown pool water is to cold to get into for a indoor pool.

I love that the indoor pool temp is lower than the Ryan or the Benbrook pools. It's hard to jump in the at the start of my workout but swimming laps is actually possible without overheating.
I also like the swim distance challenge this year. I got a late start but it's been nice to push myself a little further each workout over the year. I'm already looking forward to how much further I'd be able to go next year.
