I retired in October 2023 and joined the Owasso Y a week later. I was happy to discover there were plenty of classes to choose from. The primary instructors of the classes I attend know their subject matter well and are really helpful and encouraging. Especially Ramona Young, she’s an awesome teacher! She’s very nurturing and supportive. Plus, she promotes interaction among class participants in the classes of hers that I attend and I really like that. I was immediately welcomed into the fold.
The automated texts I receive that registration for one of my 3 favorite classes is open helps to keep me accountable to myself. Finally, I have yet to encounter a staff member who has been anything other pleasant and welcoming. It’s nice how they usually greet me when I arrive and when I leave.

I appreciate that there are various programs for elementary aged kids. I appreciate the parents and coaching support. And in general it’s really awesome to see the Y fostering a place for the kids to be competitive and active! This is our 1st time taking this approach with youth athletics and we are very happy with the results!
How clean and organized.
The instructors are great. Mo, Sharla and Kim are the only classes I attend. Others are good, too and I'm working my way up to their classes, but meanwhile, you do have a few really good ones. I also loved Vicki but she's gone. Mickie is very good but I can't go at the time of her classes. Kathy is delightful, too but her class coincides with Pilates. :( Chelsea is really good, too.

Just working out mainly but all activities you guys offer are all really great just my focus is gym activities but thanks again and merry Christmas 🎄
We drive out thru Owasso on Thursdays for therapy and I contacted your branch to see if my son with disabilities could do some swimming (as some calming therapy). While not the time for family swim, they were able to accommodate us and the 20-30 minutes of time floating in the current pool as been so good for my son.
I really appreciate the pool director hearing our story and finding a way to accommodate us, even though it was outside the norm.

I love the variety of exercise classes the Y offers. You can always find a class regardless what time of day. I have made so any friends through the Y over the years, nice friendly people.

Everything is really organized and everyone is helpful. Clean and facilities.
I utilize the pool for health reasons and the staff is great. Lifeguards are friendly and attentive. Class instructors are fun and motivating.

I have just joined, but am loving the E Gym.
I like that the kids can socialize with other children their age. One note, the security was a little lax. My oldest son picked the two younger kids up with no questions asked. There should be pick up tickets like a coat check so unauthorized people can't pick them up.
The programs are ideal for my age group for daily activities that match my retired lifestyle.
It's a great facility. The equipment is new and clean and the staff is helpful and always friendly.
The play care is amazing for my 5 year old while I'm working out at the gym. We love the pool and the lifeguards are great and very attentive. The out of school break programs for our kids are awesome too! It's everything we could have hope for with our membership.
