I thought everything was explained thoroughly and the team was well prepared. The Edina team had my wife and I prepared with proper expectations. They worked great with my mortgage lender. All the steps were completed in a timely manner and we closed on time. Plus the folks were super friendly.
Eric Fisk, my closer was super personable and attentive which immediately put me at ease. He thoroughly guided me through the paperwork, explaining each document's use or application.
Eric was prepared to readily respond to questions and concerns I expressed. He went an extra 10 miles in helping me try to find my banking information to ACH the net proceeds. While I did have to resort to receiving a physical check, express delivery, Eric's efforts did not go unnoticed.
Eric also flagged specific information and documents that I should maintain in a secure location, when I may be eligible to remove PMI and the advantages of making extra payments, if possible, toward my mortgage principal.
I know Eric maintains a busy schedule and is required to travel between ER branches, but you'd have thought he had all the time in the world during my closing. In fact, it was the most memorable closing I've ever experienced and memorable for the right reasons.
