Great programming. Family atmosphere
Senior programs such as swimming for arthritis and chair arthritis
I love almost everything at the Y, but the pool experience could be better.
My husband and I lived here from 2017 to 2021, and I swam in the lap pool every day; at that time the 6 huge black overhead fans were ON working every single day, and there were always three doors open to the outside, for each pool. Unfortunately, now the 6 huge black fans over both pools are turned off, and I have
experienced chlorine toxicity, like burning eyes and nausea after swimming, on a number of occasions. This shouldn't happen. Chlorine is poisonous, and should be constantly vented OUT
off the pool, and through those open doors. Those 6 huge black fans over the pool are there for a reason; without them it's impossible to "vent" out the chlorine that evaporates from the pool water constantly.
In order to make the POOL experience as good as it should be, I'm requesting that you get someone in maintenance to put the fans back in working order, and TURN THEM ON EVERYDAY!

Great facilities, well cared for, clean. Modern equipment
The deep water aerobics classes are great. But when I joined the y in 2011 they were five days a week. Now only 2 days a week. So my y dues have gone up but I am getting less if what I enjoy. This very disappointing to me

Everyone is very pleasant and oj time. The facility is always clean, even when it's extremely busy. Tricia is just amazing, she makes us feel like family, she alwaya makes her greetings very warm.

The classes
I like the diversity of class offerings. I like the sense of community.
My husband and I have been members for 29 years (literally this month). We have enjoyed the “vibe” as well as taken advantage of numerous classes/training. We enrolled as newlyweds, participated in programs as a family, and now are empty nesters. Our daughter, graduate student, recently joined a Y (out of state). It has been a very positive experience for all of us.
The facility is nicely maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The instructors are wonderful!
Lots to do. Great equipment. Staff good. Only problem is people hog machines and sit on phone and not using equipment. Staff ignores.

The Y at Boca Raton is a very fun place to be in and I feel quite safe in this environment. Everyone is super supportive and caring!

The Y provides a friendly atmosphere with a good experience while exercising. I prefer the pool especially the deep water program which had been curtailed in the last in the last five years. I am glad to see the Y has hired more experienced group leaders. If the deep water program could be provided on a three day a week basis it would be even better. I have been a member since 2011. The Y provides a program no other athletic facility offers locally. Thank you for your service.
Just the entire atmosphere. Wish there were more programs for kids other than sports.
I am 81 years of age and have a limited social life. The Y is good for my body , my mind and my soul. I would recommend it to people of all ages. It is also a good deal pricewise.
