i was a temporary refugee from the Jim&HeatherGillis Y while the pool was being repaired. I found your facility to be top-notch. Its not really a fair comparison, but nonetheless, many levels above my regular Y in terms of style, cleanliness, form, features. I especially liked the clearness of the pool water and the use of salt (I think) to generate chlorine. It seemd to be much less harsh on my skin/hair. The only negative for me, and this is sort of a niche complaint, is that the pool is outdoors. I swim backstroke for about half of my workout, and the sunlight was uber-intense even with polarized goggles and an eye-dr film insert.
Hopefully with the sale of the surrounding land for development, the J&HG Y will be able to use the money to upgrade to the level of your facility.

We love being a part of the YMCA! We utilize the kid’s club, sports leagues and even swimming and the gym. This membership has been a great addition to our lives.
Great classes and instructors
Gym never seems to be overcrowded and has just about any piece of equipment you would want.
The “Y” is extremely friendly and very, very clean. I was part of a group that got displaced from the downtown “Y” We felt very welcome using the pool 🏊♀️ for our exercise class. Thanks, thanks, thanks.
