Beautiful activities for the kids.
Loved the pool area and separate pool for classes versus laps. The splash pad was a blast! Me and my grandson both could play together.
If possible could there be water aerobics classes as early as 7 or 7:30?
The Y is very clean. It is very welcoming. All the staff is very friendly and respectful. Your childcare is wonderful. When I looked at the Y I thought it is so huge but it is full every day.
Salt water pool for exercise classes. Close to my home.

We visited the pool. It’s great for kids at all levels of swim development.
The kid zone also looks fun, but we haven’t gone yet.
It would be cool if one of the YMCA’s in the St. Petersburg area had an indoor playground.
The Highland Rec center is a great place to go. If one our YMCA’s in St. Petersburg had a similar set up, I think it would be a game changer for families.
Highland Rec has an AMAZING pool area, and the indoor playground is great for when it’s too hot to play outdoors.
The diversity of activities
The pool hours have been great. My main activity is lap swimming.
The staff overall at the Speer YMCA have been fantastic; super friendly.
It's larger then the other facilities, larger floor and more weight equipment. Also has more room for classes and a much larger kids club?
Only problem is everyone is starting to go there because the other facilities need updates, more space. More and more people are going to drive to Speers. Not good for the overcrowding at one facility.
I really want to keep it a secret, but I love the windows and all the new equipment.

We are loving the new Speer YMCA. The gym space is amazing, the child care on site has been wonderful. My children love the summer camps and the basketball program. Oh, and the Tech Room is great for my son. Looking forward to trying out the pool and splash pad.

The game room is awesome. My kids love it. Only thing is, it not always open and they are disappointed. Then I have to rush through my work out because they are stuck in the kids zone with the smaller kids.
This place is great! Friendly staff, clean areas. My two wishes are the pool opened for lap swimming at 5 am and the treadmills nixed the 30-min time limit.

The YMCA Summer Camp at Bardmoor is awesome. This is the 2nd year of camp for one child of mine and the 3rd year for my other kid. They are in week 3 and absolutely having a blast. They look forward to going to camp every day. The staff that guides them every day are awesome and Maya has done an amazing job with the communication leading up to the start of camp and her weekly/daily emails to remind parents of expectations and what is coming up are so helpful. Everyone involved with putting on this camp and the logistics is amazing. Another win for Bardmoor YMCA.
