The variety of activities that are available for the kids. The daily rotation schedule that allows the kids to stay in a routine while also having fun. And the lead counselor, Name removed. He is outstanding and is the reason my children want to continue going to camp at the YMCA Bardmoor.
Phoenix also raves about Coach Tori. Both my boys are making friends and can tell each counselor cares a lot about them. Oh, and Coach First name removed. Another shout out for him. I can't say it enough, he is absolutely fantastic.

My daughter has a lot of fun and likes all of the counselors/coaches. It’s great that they get to go on field trips. The camp covers the entire work day which is so nice for parents.
Good communication with parents.
Great field trips; nice teen program.
Security with checking out and supervision leader/student ratio very good.
Our son lives the YMCA summer camp. He loves the field trips and the pool time
Camp is so great to keep my child active and the child is always so existed about the field trips
The program offers new and fun experiences daily for my kids so they are not bored. My kids are always excited to attend camp and they always have good things to say about the day at pickup time.
One thing that has been disappointing is the decision to no longer allow the wearing of Crocs. We have attended two prior summer camps, as well as two winter camps, and it has always been allowed. My youngest daughter struggles with the feeling of wearing socks and shoes, so camp was always a nice break from the day to day struggle of wearing socks and shoes during the school year . It would be nice to have the option back.
I like that my kids are having fun and looking forward to camp. Good selection of field trip destinations and ymca facility utilization (ie pool, splash pad)

Friendly staff (especially Bryan), beautiful clean facilities, many diverse activities for the kids, excellent communication on a weekly basis.
Side note: Please keep putting the orange cones in front entrance so that cars must come down the long side lane to get into carline for dropoff/pickup. Otherwise, parents try to cut in there.
Positive environment, great activities, busy all day, no electronics allowed from outside the facility so kids all play together and nobody is left out, absolutely love it for my son!
Kids love it! Great attentive staff.
My son loves it! He’s loved meeting new kids and making new friends The field trips are so awesome and the whole team of counselors really makes the camp so welcoming and safe. The swim tests are fantastic as well, and the splash pad day is extra great. Thank you for all you do!
There are so many fun activities for the campers everyday. Awesome field trips, swimming, splash pad, Kona ice, the game room, the basketball court, the track. The program is very organized and efficient, the coaches and Bryan have all even very friendly and answered all questions we’ve had thus far. I love the Speer YMCA summer camp and so does my son!
I love the variety of activities, the planned themes for the week and the special activities that are done on certain days of the weeks.
The team keeps the kids active with thought out programs that are fun
It's my understanding that there is no longer summer camp at Lealman. That's is why we switched to Child's Park. We really liked Lealman and also like Child's Park. We like the programs because they are all inclusive and really keep the kids busy with activities and outings.
Very organized, on-time information and excellent staff!
Everyone is very friendly caring and treats everyone like family also I know my girls enjoyed being at camp meeting new friends and it also feels like a safe place
I love, how every day they have something different they have field trips. And they are always doing something different every day

My 11 year old on participated in the basketball specialty camp and said it was excellent. He enjoyed the activities, the high participation level of the attendees, and the evenly split skill level of the other players. The scrimmages were especially a highlight.
