Workout equipment is great, my brother loves the sauna and hot tub after a good hour workout. The sheer amount of homeless people hanging out outside and across the street are concerning because most look like theyre on drugs, but if you ignore what's going on outside, it's really great.
Value for the money?
Instructors; variety.
You offer a lot of options
You have classes.
The varied number of choices.
I like the indoor pool and rock wall! Also the Les mills classes!
So far I’ve only used the pool. I love the salt water!!
I wish there were more lanes available.
The machines are awesome good exercise I love it. Everybody is very friendly and very clean. I am very satisfied with this gym. I love it.
Love the classes, the kids zone, warm pool and splash pad
Love facility, close to our home, clean, friendly staff, - just be careful we don't have too many people that we have to wait for the equipment.
I love the aqua aerobics/zumba class. I wish you offered them in the evening on Monday and Friday as well.
Lots
Love the new facility, the amenities and the kid's zone.
Wide range of activities for people of all ages. Particularly like pickleball, spin water arobics.
Beautiful facility, friendly employees. We've been a little disappointed because the pool always seems to be closed. We're enjoying the extended hours on the weekends.
I like how there is a broader availability with program times and that the instructors are diverse and willing to jump in and help with no judgement.
Water aerobics and enhance fitness
The swimming pools are nice, especially for families. The gym equipment area was spacious.
I don't really use them, but I see they are often packed and the participants seem to love them.
The Y is always spotlessly clean. I quit my last 2 gyms because they had cleanliness issues that they couldn't (wouldn't) resolve.
I enjoy the diverse classes at the YMCA at the Speare center has to offer along with times and availability. I also like the fact that I do not have to sign up for a class like I would at other gym programs, which would sometimes cause stress for me if I would sign up and advance, but then had something come up with work of where I would no longer be able to attend, and that would then result in fee for not showing up.lastly I enjoy all the wonderful events that you all have to offer from the free daycare clinic check up to the senior potluck. It is a very positive positive and community base YMCA that I am proud to be a part of.
Inclusive
Nice facility and very friendly staff!
Love all the convenient hours, the friendly staff and it's nice how there are some structured activities provided for the kids
I am basically a newbie although I joined in January. Recently I have been coming to workout and I use the Life Fitness machines.
I have been meaning to bring to your attention an annoying issue. Some people on the equipment tie up the equipment by spending a prolonged time sitting and using their phones. I recognize all need a respite between sets but some users abuse that expectation.
Might you somehow remind members of expectations in the newsletter or via email. I know it would be a problem for staff to be constantly urging members to move on but it is annoying.
On my recent visit i did ask a guy if he was still using the crunch machine as he was just sitting there playing on the phone for an extended period of time. He then finished his set and moved on. I guess this is the most practical approach but not enveryone would be comfortable confronting people.
Be well.
Great instructors
A lot of programs and the exercise machines!
I like the variety of classes. I like the different time formats of 30 and 55 minute classes. My favorite part and why I keep coming back is your team of instructors. Ashley I, Bria, Davida and Tom are so inspiring and motivating.
Very good variety of activities and classes.

I go to the Y just for that awesome pool! I love it. Also, the $50.00/month fee is the best deal in town.
