Speer preschool academy is such a wonderful school. The staff and directors are amazing. They truly care about all of the students. I love the fact that the directors know the children and parents by name. That speaks volumes. AMAZING school.

There are a wide range of programs to select from. The trainers and/or instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable. They take their job professionally .
Love the variety of classes, the egalitarian environment, and the lack of pretension. However, upkeep of the locker room has been lacking. A shower in the women’s locker room has been out of order for months. And the bathing suit spinner is now out of order too. A new facility shouldn’t have a shower out of order for months.
Bardmoor YMCA is a clean place and they are great with the kids! They are great at communicating with you about your little one. a place where your child can go every week and learn, have fun, and grow and play with their peers.

It would be great to host a yearly pickleball tournament with a registration fee discounted for Y members to raise funds for programs. You can do this on a weekend with play in the morning through the evening. It could be set-up with various age and skill levels so even beginners could play if they chose to participate.
I live in Bardmoor and am also a member of the Golf, Tennis & Pickleball club. I have been playing in tournaments since 2015 when I was introduced to the sport at Bardmoor Y. In my last two major events in November 2023 and April 2024, the USAP Nationals in Dallas and the US Open in Naples, I won bronze and silver medals in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
If you decide to host a tournament, I would be happy to assist staff in setting up and administering the event.

I like the gym
They include activities inside of school hours which helps me out with timing and making sure my daughter is included. The center is very inclusive with parents and being involved
The teachers do an amazing job to meet each child’s need. I feel safe and secure leaving my child with them. Mrs. Jayasia, Mrs. Bianca, and Ms. Sara really have been great for Wren and her development. I can see how passionate they are about their work with our youth. We feel so lucky to be apart of the Lex family.
