We love the atmosphere of the Bardmoor YMCA. The staff is always friendly. The programs and activities are family oriented. We feel safe as a family at this facility and leaving our child in their care.
I like classes I’ve never taken before so I can try tryout. I love how I can always ask questions about how machines work and how to use them correctly. I love how many new friends you can make there!
Our daughter always has a blast with speciality camp, it’s honestly one of her favorite camps all summer. However the time with the full camp is sometimes a different story. some campers need to be better supervised… they don’t use age appropriate language and topics, are rude, racist, and aggressive. This is minimally addressed unless a parent is involved, or excessive. My daughter has been picked on every summer she has participated and this year some kids kicked, tripped, and pushed her. These incidents were never addressed with us by staff but resulted in many tears and honestly self esteem concerns that were not there before being bullied at ymca camp. We have addressed the self esteem concerns as a family as this has minimally been a problem she rebounds from every summer. since we attend individual weeks and not the entire summer things did not escalate, but there is honestly no way she could go to the full summer there without being harassed or bullied. Other parents I know do not send their kids because of this same concern. Just something to be mindful of as you have small kids moving through these camps. Camp should be a safe place with mutual respect.

Overall very good, child enjoyed almost everything. I wish communication was a little better - ie permission slip signing. Also wish they had split the group for Busch Garden trip for ride goers and non ride goers.
The Y has become like a second family to us! My 3 boys enjoyed every day at camp! Everything was very organized and communication was excellent. Que, Angela, James, Courtney, and Ashley made it a great summer!!!!

My daughter really enjoyed summer camp for the first time. She loved all of the activities and being able to go swimming each week. She is 11 years old and is already excited to go to camp again next year. The Teresa and her staff at Lealman Exchange YMCA Summer camp made it very memorable for all.

Easy and consistent
I like the classes. I like that the instructors introduce themselves and get to know the people in their classes. I love hot they have welcomed me and my family and helped us get to know others.

Instructors are wonderful, patient, knowledgeable. My kid has trouble focusing and staying on task so the instructors do a wonderful job of keeping him engaged.
The childcare is the best hands down! Love the planned family friendly activities throughout the year!

The main reason I joined this YMCA, is for the open pool.
I love that the pool is open at 5:30 .
I know there's a shortage of lifeguards, but please pay for overtime or do some extreme hiring in the pool area, so that it can stay open from 5:30 am until 8:30 PM.
Would like to see them bring back Dance Lessons! 🕺 💃
