How caring the staff are with the kids.

My child has been in the infant room at YMCA's Valley Child Development Center for nearly a year, and I have repeatedly recommended it to others who are looking for care. The teachers and administration for this center have been working in childcare, many at this location, for a long time and it really shows. I work in education and I knew I was looking for a place where the adults were patient, calm, and knowledgeable in the way they interact with the children, and that's what we have found every single time we've been there. I have never seen an adult respond to a child with frustration (which is amazing because it can be a frustrating job), and every child of every age clearly knows and feels safe with most every adult working there. My child is known and greeted by nearly every adult in the building, even though she's only been in one class so far. She receives wonderful cared there every day, including specifics that we have requested that are unique from others in her class - we really appreciate their flexibility with us as well. So glad we found this center!

They’ve help my baby a lot he talks more asks more questions. He’s made a lot of friends too and I love the fact his all of therapist’s can come see him while he’s there.

They are incredibly well organized, educationl, and fun!

I like how each teacher treats our kids like one of their own. If they are sick, they are texting us to check to see how they are feeling. If they get hurt, they sit with them and apply ice if needed. They are constantly doing fun activities and taking plenty of pictures for the parents to enjoy!

Great employees very friendly and helpful

First name removed has advanced more in the time at this daycare than any other. She is working on her separation anxiety. The teachers are attentive to the needs of the children and actually work with them. The staff are excellent and kid friendly.

They provide challenging study work for the students that match up with what my child is learning in class. The clubs are also great, exposing my child to new activities while providing a fun environment.

Christ Child Nursery is a great daycare! We love the consistent support our kids get from the steady teaching staff. The people who work there have been there a long time and there is a real sense of family and community in the center

We love Ms. Kay!! The extended day program at Rising Stars has been a life saver for our family and our preschooler loves going there after school. Ms. Kay and her staff and amazing with her and so kind. It was a great choice for our family.

I really appreciate this program at my school. The staff is very friendly and so communicative. My kids enjoy being there because of all of the fantastic crafts and games they get to enjoy. I am so lucky that this program is available, and I look forward to enrolling my soon-to-be Kindergartner as well!

I have loved so many of the teachers at Batavia Heights - so many truly dedicated childcare professionals who are so devoted to our kids. I am especially impressed with Infant Two teacher Taylor; Toddler One teachers Lizzie and Angie; and Toddler Two teachers Becca and Abbi. They have been so thoughtful about what each child needs in their classroom to feel welcome, safe, confident. And they are so responsive and communicative with parents. I sincerely hope that they are valued by the organization as well. They are doing incredibly important work, and as young, female professionals in a female-dominated industry, I hope they are given appropriate access to continuing education and access to living wages that allow them to remain in the field.
