Variety
The variety of group classes is significant. Yoga, barre, Zumba, water aerobics, cycling, weightlifting and so many more… something for everyone. Each class taught with care by an experienced instructor.
I really enjoy the Women on Weights class. Initially it was intimidating going into the weight room. Crystal has worked with our group to give us confidence and encouragement. Now I enjoy working out with the weight machines.

Family Splash swimming. But today water and inside temperature was way to cold. My feed turned purple. I did complain to life guards.
I think Kristen the exercise instructor is the best instructor at the Y. Definitely a keeper

I like that I have become a member of the community; I appreciate the weight room and the sauna. I don't often participate in other groups/activities, though.
You can workout by yourself or be part of a group or class.

Wide variety of programs and activities. Good pricing and discounts. Generally pretty clean. Had one disappointing experience with weight machine instructor. Not knowledgeable, nor thorough or Encouraging/positive. That was a couple years ago and will try another person or pay for a trainer
There is a variety for different levels.
I love the vibe at the K Durr Y! Friendly staff, great communication with members, busy families, active seniors, specialized workouts, volunteer activities. So many possible ways to get involved!
I like the AOS Strength training class Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00:am. Great great leader with diverse trading each time. Otis really very helpful

I love my YMCA building the people who work there (LuAnn at front desk) and the Senior Center. I visit the senior center activities and then go to the gym for a bit of exercise. I also participate in the exercise provided by the Y and Senior centers.
These activities and people have boosted my attitude in many ways. They make you feel so welcomed.
