Best YMCA around!
I am a lap swimmer. (not fast but steady!) I love swimming in your outdoor pool. (the bubble pool) The water clarity is spectacular and the temperature is a little cooler, perfect for swimming for long periods. I appreciate that there are always a few lap lanes available, even when the swim team is there. I live much closer to Clippard but try to make it to Powell Crosley when time allows.

I've only used the treadmill and bike. I enjoy them both. Perhaps I may take part in the water aerobics at a later date.

We love the indoor water park. We wish me Lyons had similar activities.
The other Y members have been very friendly and helpful. The instructors of the “Core” class and the weight training classes are wonderful. They are helpful, give clear instructions, encouraging, and kindly corrects positioning. They are all fun to be with in the class.
I wish they would bring back the belly dancing classes. Other than that current the classes offered that I take work well for my schedule.

The Y is a totally enlightening experience. The staff greets you everyday with a smile. They are always willing to help and assist you with whatever problems that they can assist you with. The class instructors or very friendly and understand senior needs. The Y give me a chance to meet new people and reunite with old friends that you haven't seen for a while. It's a great place to just hang out and socialize while improving your health as well. Great for family togetherness.

Like the pools
We love the pools at all the surrounding Y's. Have been members for over 5 years. We are there all summer long and a bit in the winter. Thank you for keeping the prices low so we can offered it.
The 3 pools are great because I come to swim. I can not always get a lane however because of a water exercise class. For the small number of people in those activities it would seem to me that it could be done without so many swim lanes closed.
Friendly staff and facility is always clean. Our Silver Sneakers instructor, Donna is always cheerful and helpful to those who are just starting out.

The staff is friendly and always accommodating. There are program and classes for all types of fitness goals. The members are pleasant. Being at Powell Crosley Jr YMCA is like being part of a great big diverse family.
