Senior exercise

Large variety.

I love friendly staff, Cleanliness of the facility, and the indoor water park!!!! My son has the greatest time swimming there and loves the teachers in the kids club!

I like the fact that the fitness room is large enough to accommodate different age groups and letting them spread out enough so that they are not on top of each other. Also, the staff is very friendly and also, helpful to any one needing assistance with the use of the different weight machines. There are at least 3 swimming pools in the building which allows a wide range of swimming programs year round for all ages to participate in. There are many more program offerings to both young and seniors than the ones I mentioned above. I tend to mention the Y and its many programs to most of my friends. I really look forward to coming to the Y for my daily workouts.

I love your pools. I use the waterpark pool since I have a bad back and walk with a cane. I can't do much else except exercise in the water. The pool is always warm which is great. The life guards are excellent!
One complaint: your parking lot was treacherous after this recent snow/ice event. I came Saturday, Sunday and today, Tuesday. I was sure you would have it clear by Sunday like other parking lots. Today was worse since the handicap spaces were blocked off. Don't understand what took you so long.
Otherwise everything is great at your Y.

They have the greatest aquatics program in the Midwest

I only do SilverSneakers classes, but I will love if in the future we can have the same Dancing class that the YMCA in Montana Av.

So far I've only been able to italicize the gym.

A big parking lot

Friendly, knowlegable greeters welcoming you

Plenty of different pieces of machines to walk, run, ride. glide or bike

A couple of pools, both indoor and oiutdoor

Locker room has plenty of space and showers

Lots of classes, which i have only taken advantage of Strength Training

The room is kept clean and in top shape
Also the equipment is nice and kept in good condition

FRIENDSHIPS

The staff is friendly and everyone I have encountered is polite. We have a great time in the SilverSneakers aquatic class and there is no judgment.

I totally recommend this YMCA to family and friends.

I like that the Y caters to all walks of like, the really physical to the impaired. This is a great place to go no matter what physical shape you are in.

You can choose your own activities and go at your own pace.

Love the aquatic arthritis. Also everybody who works there is wonderful and so helpful.

The staff work hard in these harrowing times to keep the motor running.

I like the variety of group fitness classes. I enjoy the different instructors and their unique style of teaching. The front is always friendly and very helpful to all. We are blessed to have Powell Crosley YMCA and staff in our community.

However, your gym is male-centric and most equipment favors men. No sit up machine or equipment!
