My son plays basketball here. We live on the west side and travel all the way to blue ash during the week just for this program but specifically for Derek Mast, the sports director. We know he is leaving soon and it really is unfortunate for the program. He is amazing with ALL of the kids and made the program how great it is. We love that he goes out of his way to meet every kid on their level. We are sad to see him go, but appreciate how much he has done for us, but also for the kids in the basketball program as a whole.
The workout room

I just joined last month and have only taken advantage of the open swim. The water is warm and the locker room is nice with closed showers and dressing rooms.
Very community oriented and offer a diverse volunteer opportunities ie: food and clothes donation. Exercise programs for all levels of ability and inclusive programs for all ages.

I like the sense of community and inclusivity. I think the major renovations are desperately needed to maintain a swimming program addressing a wide range of needs.
I use the indoor pool for deep water exercise. The ladies locker/shower room is so nice since the renovation. Thanks for making it a cleaner and healthier space! Please continue to maintain the areas with regular cleaning. The indoor pool looks nice since recent painting. Thank you!

I use the workout room and pool both of which are good.
You have a wide selection of activities to choose from and seem to be adding news ones.

The classes and exercise room
Your heated indoor swimming pool open swimming times & helpful & friendly staff. The remodeled women’s locker room & showers is a huge improvement!

I selected 9 because Lynn, front desk greeter was very kind to my guest and me. She took us into the pool area and to the lifeguard so we may ask the question, "May we participate in the 11 am water exercise class?" The lifeguard was nice to us as well. He said we could participate.
However, some of the patrons in the pool were condescending and gave us looks of disdain.
I realize you do not have control of how patrons treat other patrons; however their behavior does not reflect your mission statement. "To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all."
The teachers and community are amazing!
Silver Sneakers
Blue Ash is not my regular why. I just stuffed in because I was driving by and knew that I wanted to go to the Y and that afternoon thought I would just use the one that presented itself to me. Normally I go to Powell Crosley. I like the blue ash fitness room. It feels friendly to me: lots of light , and spacious.
Friendly staff
I enjoy the Dance Fitness class for older adults. The teacher is very good and her class is fun.
weight machines and exercise classes
Everybody knows your name and always is greeted so nicely!! Jan AOA oh class is awesome. We need it more times a week. Still awaiting fans it gets so hot in the gym during her program over to the other building. It is so nice and cool in the class.

I enjoy Silver Sneakers for the exercise and for the good friends I’m met. I am thankful this is offered at the Blue Ash Y.
