Water fitness
I enjoy the swimming and classes! Wish there was a yoga or Pilates or barre class on Monday Wednesday Friday at 7am. Michelle is awesome on Tuesday and Thursday. I swim 4 days a week and wish the lap pool would open at 6am on Saturday. It’s packed at 7am on Saturday!
Would love more CrossFit classes
I like that you have a good variety of classes. Also, that you have two swimming pools; one for laps and another for activities and classes.
Group fitness classes are amazing! I Love Zumba.

The ample facilities and plenty of open hours are great. But really, it is the great folks working at the downtown Y that make it super.

I like the yoga classes
I don't participate in any of your programs or activities. We live in Dunlap and you're the closest facility with a therapy pool which my wife needs for her physical therapy and fitness. I use the gym facilities from time to time if I have business on your side of the mountain.
Like the variety of afternoon classes available.
i love Michelle 7 AM Pilates class. it's my favorite. so life giving and really works on the fundamentals and the core and sets you up well physically, and mentally for the rest your week. I also love barre and afterburn!

Accessibility, there’s usually something for everyone
I love the senior fitness, Zumba gold and chair yoga classes and the class instructors. The instructors are well trained, are very friendly and keep their classes current adding new things now and then to the class. Class members in all my classes are friendly and inclusive. I feel very welcome at the Y.
My trainer, Kareem Brown, has helped me gain the strength I need at age 74 to play with my grandchildren and do the outdoor sports that I love. I also like the classes that are geared towards senior adults.

I like the hours that are available, and I like the option of going downstairs to jog on the track and use the dumbbell weights there.

sometimes intimidated (jacked men and women in nothing more than underwear) but try to hold my own ☺️probably better than other gyms
Varied classes to choose from. Like that new ones are added from time to time. [Still wish there was Tai Chi, but maybe I'm the only one who's take it since I've been asking for 2-3 years.] Appreciate the new equipment upgrades. Wish there were more recumbent bikes for us seniors. We tend to have boney butts and upright bikes are painful to sit on for more than 5 minutes and are hard on forearms and shoulders.
