The Y is great for any type of exercise you are interested in, no matter what physical condition you are experiencing. It is also a great place to meet new people.
I am only involved in water aerobics, so can't comment on anything else. I like the classes and the teachers are very knowledgeable about the workouts.

The instructors are sincere about their profession. The participants in general are personable. I’ve made lasting relationships.

The senior classes overall address the needs and capabilities of all levels of participants taking the classes - there are so many classes available for people to take. In particular the classes I take are to be highly commended for their content and instructor interest in the participants in the class - in a friendly manner. Thank you YMCA for so many offerings!
Tina Walker - her Aerobic classes are so great because Tina knows her class and keeps moving us forward to achieve a higher level of exercise that we are capable of; and brings the newcomers along advising them to "just do what you can"
Kim Davis - TaiChi -She teaches basics which new comers can do plus adds additional moves to keep us learning new techniques and teaches about the TaiChi benefits. She makes new people feel welcome and puts them at ease in the beginning of class.
Maddie - Her Chair Yoga class is excellent - the stretches are so good for us and she adds new things every week to compliment the standard moves. The class is done in a manner that new people can adapt very easily in any level of their ability to the new and previously learned poses for us that have been attending for a long time. She makes everyone feel welcome.
First of all the Y is Christian based. The ones working there are helpful in whatever one may need. Its clean and well maintained.I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their health!

I have mobility issues and rely heavily on Water Aerobics to help with balance and mobility. The instructors are friendly and helpful. It is a great way to socialize while getting the movement i need.
