Their is an immediate need to update equipment to restore tv signals on the cardio machines.

Everything you want to do, they have it. Every piece of equipment you want to use, they have it. The staff is always extremely helpful, whatever the question is.
Staff is always helpful and I love the community feeling while working out or taking a class. Shallowford Road YMCA is a fantastic place to be.
I love the wide variety of classes available to members. There is something there for everyone and you can really tell that some of the trainers line Shannon O’Kelly put a lot of time into preparing for their classes. From kickboxing to bodypump, spin and yoga you have it all.

I have not participated in any activities or programs yet.
Our kids love coming and we know they are in good hands. The staff know our kids by name and always seem happy to be there!
I like that the Y is a community that welcomes families and has a wide range of classes, facilities and activities for all. The classes have great instructors, too!

Love the classes
I swim 3 days a week and appreciate the lap pool where I can usually get in a lane when I get there. Sometimes sharing the lane with one other person. The ladies locker room is always kept immaculate by Tasha. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Your child care has the best space! Your employees also keep the fitness center clean.

There's activities for everyone. We can go with our entire family - 42, 36, 9, 7, and 3 - and we all have something there we want to do. Whether it's working out, childcare, or seasonal sports, we love our YMCA.

I like that the flexibility of the schedule for activities and programs. If one activity time doesn't work, another time will. I am seeing that some cleaning around the pool and hot tub area needs to be done though. Other than that, I am very pleased with everything and especially everyone who works or volunteers there.
Simply the best! The child watch area is amazing, the pool is great. We love it here!
