Love the water aerobics classes. A great workout with very welcoming participants and staff.
Also AOA, another great workout with an awesome instructor. By the end of the week you know you’ve done well. The gym is always a good spot as well. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. Can’t say enough good things about the Cleveland YMCA.
The people that help and serve the seniors are wonderful. They are concerned about our lives along with our health. They are very encouraging and supportive. They are friendly and courteous to us all, in spite of our limitations.

We frequent the Downtown Y. The 6:00am group workout sessions are perfectly timed to get us up and going for the day. Specifically we use the spinning, body pump and open machine rooms. I know there are many options through the day but we haven't tried many at this point. That said it's nice to know that when our days slow a bit there are good options to continue our exercise efforts.
The staff and members are a special treat. We've formed many friendships with those we encounter through our participation at the Y.
The activities are well run. Session leaders are qualified and really exhibit care for the success of the participants.

I appreciate the variety in programs and classes you offer. One of my favorite things to have access to at my local YMCA is the use of a sauna.

I like the group exercise classes and instructors. There is a great amount of equipment in the weight room with plenty of cardio machines.
I love the Y however, we pay for services that we don't use especially child care. The only thing that I would be so happy to see improved is the cleanliness. The floors in the exercise room are 90% of the time, filthy.
I appreciate a gym with complete amenities including lap pool, saunas, and showers. Plenty of equipment allows for ease of workouts.
I just started Faith Based YOGA and it has been a blessing. I recently retired and life is presenting many challenges. Not only have I been able to improve and increase flexibility from numerous injuries, but the tone Christine establishes for the class, made it comfortable to join and feel included.

I exercise at the YMCA, treadmilling one day and (normally) using the upper-body strength machines the next. I find that the people there are friendly to anyone who wants to talk and visit. The exercise equipment allows for great variety for the muscle-builders and the light-workout-folks alike.
Thankfully, those at the front desk are always friendly and welcoming.
The one downer about the Hamilton Y is parking: there's often a jam of cars, and one has to drive around awhile to find a parking spot.

I have mobility issues and the water aerobics classes allow me to work on not only mobility and balance but to forge new friendships. I also love your games program on Monday afternoons. The different games provide mental challenges that are so important at my age.
