Very unfortunate that sauna has been removed. For me it was a very important part of staying healthy. Whoever caused its removal displayed a high degree of ignorance. But that is just my opinion.

I have been working out with Lauryn Deaubler, my personal trainer at the Y, for 2 months. I love working out with her! She challenges me, while always watching my form to make sure I am doing the exercises in the proper way so as to engage the right muscles and that I don't hurt myself. She is highly knowledgeable and the best personal trainer I have ever worked out with! She also makes the work out fun, we have interesting, fun and engaging conversations. Lauryn is the best! Thank you YMCA for having such a wonderful trainer in Arnold!
The pool is well managed. Always in good shape.
What I would like to see is no one occupying equipment while on their cellphones. They are disrupting my workout process by watching someone doing a set and then sitting on the equipment while they check their phone, texting messages, answering e-mails.

I like the cardio and strength training equipment. Always have a killer workout even when I am groggy to start.
The people are friendly and there is a variety of activities. I am disappointed in the fact the sauna is closed with no hope for repairs. The explanation was unclear and unsatisfactory.
