Family focused - the y offers many different programs for children - which is wonderful. I like that I can exercise and my granddaughter can play with her friends on the slide, climbing wall etc
Always recommend the Y
The guards: they are friendly and encouraging. The split clock: counts minutes for me and I don't have to look around. The other swimmers: it's amazing how many others are willing to find joy in distance swimming - whether they are lapping me (often) or I am passing them (go guy!, go gal!) misery is company. Beat up or what: nothing beats the feeling of a body after a swim.

We love the Y. Reccomended it to so many people but especially parents. Being able to use the stay and play is actually probably the best commintmemt mechanism there is. I love all the staff that work in there. Plus my child has learned where the y in parkville is and woah be to the person that try’s to go shopping in that shopping center and not also go workout.

It is family oriented and the environment is clean and welcoming. I haven’t had a issue dropping my daughter off to the play area.
Space is good. My kids love two swimming pools and the sauna. They also love the climbing wall. It's super!

I like how the membership allows you access to many of the Y locations through out Maryland, have great variety of fitness classes to take that are included in the membership. What I like most is you are not attached to a yearly contract or anything like that. You can cancel at anytime if for some reason you can no longer pay for a membership and they also provide assistance if you run into such a problem so won't have to cancel.
I like the camaraderie. Instructors are very caring and make sure you do the exercises correctly. It's great to get out with people who also think about their health and well being.
The staff is great, especially those who work in the 'stay and play'. The equipment is well maintained and the entire place is very clean. It's a great environment for all ages.

This is the best Y in the country! I love it, my kids love it, win win! The indoor playground is a big selling point for our family. Especially now that it's getting colder, we'll be there all the time!
