I like the cardio dance, zumba and cycling classes. I also like that my 8 yr old daughter can use some of the machines. Everyone is nice and the parking lot is never full, unlike the Towson one.

The Y offers numerous programs that can fit the needs of people of all fitness ability. I also enjoy the variety of exercise machines offered. Lastly, there are people who are able and willing to help with the use of each machine.

I love the friendliness of the staff and the supportive environment. I love that I see people of all shapes, sizes, and colors. I also love that there is stay and place so that I can workout with ease while my kids are being watched/taken care of. I also love the discounts that members get for Y summer camps. And all the family programming that happens all month-long!

Jenna Yurek is my favorite instructor that the Y has ever had. She's a true asset to the Y and her welcoming personality always makes me feel great when I get unmotivated and miss some classes. There's no shaming of "where have you been?" - but a warm smile and encouragement to do my best. She's the reason I keep my membership going even through periods when I lack motivation because I know she'll be there when I return.

It's convenient to where I live and shop. I like the diversity of members by age, race, gender, etc.
If you are on Medicare and have a secondary with AARP/ United Health Care the fee is 1/2 price. A real bargain, especially if you live close to a Y.

I like the varied routines for the cardio and strength exercises. Working out is not stressful and there is no pressure from the staff.
