The cleanliness and the people , all service oriented.
So far (two visits) everyone has been VERY helpful and friendly ... facility is clean and welcoming ....
Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
The staff, instructors, programs, and Mr. Robert Gant, one of the security guards.
I love to swim. In the past, I wouldn't swim at the 33rd street Y because the pool and pool area were not up to par. That has changed, however, and I now enjoy the 33rd street Y to swim. I live a mile from the 33rd street Y. I love the workout facilities at the Towson Y better than those at the 33rd street Y.
The Y is a beacon for the neighborhood. It is a warm community of folks that work har to keep everyone safe while providing excellent wellness services and activities.
Felt very safe attending pilates class. It was great to be back. Wish there were more sessions with Carlan available
I like the new precautionary measure put in place for our safety.
Reserving swim lane
I have met some incredible people at the Y who have become my friends! Everyone is eager to
assist when needed. I have been a member since September, 2005 and can not think of a better place to exercise five days a week.
Staff very helpful
pool & weight room meet my exercise need
Friendly staff, super clean.Safe !!!!
The staff is friendly and helpful. I like the communication we got during the shutdown. I felt appreciated for keeping my membership up. And now I love the arrangement for the pool with time slots and a whole lane. It feels very safe.
Stay-and-play is amazing!
Nice atmosphere oh, well design facility, very pleasant staff.
Customer service and equipment

Clean and updated. Friendly staff
Friendly staff and great facility.
Friendly staff + clean equipment= great workout experience
I just joined the Waverly Y a few weeks ago and LOVE it, overall!
I had one experience yesterday that was a bit discouraging, but the staff was very professional and friendly about it. The online lap lane reservation allowed 4 people to sign up for the Tues. 7pm slot, even though there was a Wellness class going on in the pool at that time and laps were therefore limited to max 2 lanes. My partner and I signed up, structured our evening around swimming at 7pm, and then had to be turned away because 2 people had already filled the 2 free lap lanes. This was frustrating. Chris - life guard on staff - was VERY kind and professional in handling this. But wanted to write and share the experience so that the Y can ensure that their online lap lane sign-up sheets don't overbook lanes in the future.
Thanks so much,

We love the Y. I honestly don't know what we would have done without the Y during COVID. They have provided a safe structured environment for my daughter that has allowed her a level of "normalcy" that I wasn't able to provide for her. She is doing great, the teachers and camp counselors are amazing humans, and I can't recommend the Y enough.
The Pool
Family oriented, faculty just facility as a hold.
Safety procedures that were in place seemed adequate.
Staff, classes, and community
Fun Friendly Environment that meets my needs.
I love how friendly the community is. The facility is kept clean and tidy. The equipment is new and well maintained. It's great to have a pool to do a few laps in, too!
I'm a law student and live off mostly student loans. The Y helped me afford membership by approving my Open Doors Application. I am grateful to have the Y in my neighborhood.
Equipment and the staff. Clean atmosphere. Reasonable price.

What I love about my Y experience is my daily lap swim, friendly welcoming staff and the community feeling of occasional interactions especially with my pre-pandemic friends.
This is a 9 rather than a 10 due to the growing frustration of not being able to reserve a lap lane even when I log on exactly 48 hours in advance. It’s as if the lane reservations are being snapped up by scalpers!
