I like the convince of the location and the staff. I enjoy that they update and maintain the equipment. I also enjoy the various classes that are offered to members and non-members. I like that there are dressing rooms for each groups but wish that the young children were not allowed in the adult ladies dressing room.
The instructors. No matter how large or small a group class is - the instructors still make it feel like a personal / small class experience.
The staff is wonderful to their Y members. The YMCA @ Abingdon listen to their members, such as pool water being too cold, etc.. Also the women's locker room is extremely clean! Thank you!

All the staff are friendly - they are sensitive to your circumstances and very helpful. Very clean atmosphere - Great for the kids - The hours are great - I would like longer hours for adults but as it is not a problem - lots of equipment and swimming is the absolute bonus

I really enjoyed my time with my personal trainer. He was very flexible and accommodating of my time. He came prepared and developed plans for what I was looking for. He also sent me the workout we went through with images that highlighted the appropriate muscle groups
There's a lot of different activities with varying days and times to fit anyone's schedule even if your schedule is busy. The staff is attentive and concerned, working to make sure your expectations are met.
