Friendly folks. Great equipment & offerings!
I love the welcoming atmosphere and the people that work there. When I walk in I feel like I am saying hi to family.
The fee is high and super hard to afford compared to other gyms around and wish there was some sort of discount given to the people who have been there a long time. I know several people who left because of that and just feel like if there was some sort of incentive they would have stayed.
I do love that equipment is updated but I do wish we would get some sort of leg press at the Catonsville YMCA.

The warm, community-spirited welcome hall and fireplace are always such a positive beginning to our workouts, and the gym itself is a lovely place to be. The windows are tremendously important.
The staff is also wonderful, always welcoming, smiling, and helpful.
The extra touches (morning coffee and tea, seasonal decorations, local food drives, senior breakfast mornings, family events, etc.) make the experience even better.
What is clear is that the space and the experience have been designed and are managed in a deeply humane way. Thank you.

I LOVE THE YMCA IN CATONSVILLE ITS LIKE A FAMILY.EVERYONE IS SO NICE.I LOVE THE BODY PUMP CLASSES WITH LAURIE AND DEBBIE THEY ARE BOTH SUCH A GREAT ASSET TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. THE SPIN CLASS WITH DIANNE IS TOALLY AWESOME! I FEEL LIKE ANTHONY (YOUR OLD INSTRUCTOR WHO WAS AMAZING, HE WAS THE REASON FOR SPIN TICKETS-LOL) IS BACK IN CLASS AGAIN. CATONSVILLE YMCA IS THE BEST

The Catonsville YMCA is the most consistent workout space I have ever utilized. Staff is friendly, facilities are clean and the schedules are reliable.

Great place to exercise
I have been recovering from knee replacement surgery and have not been able to return to the Y until today after being away for 4 months. I was so happy to be back in the pool and feel so fortunate to have this YMCA in Catonsville. It is a friendly and welcoming place to go and its good for your health.
It was a fun and creative activity. We enjoyed getting out of the house together
Low key environment. Participants are polite and respectful towards each other. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Nice equipment, great helpful and friendly staff, never too busy, equipment much better than commercial chain gyms like Planet Fitness, but the price is affordable.
I love how I see the many of the same people everyday so it feels like a community. Everyone is kind who works there and helpful if you need anything, especially James who has always puts a smile on my face, encourages me and my kids and just a great guy!
