Variety of classes offered. Stay and play option for kids. Personal Training with Natasha is amazing! She motivates me to try my hardest and pushes me to reach new fitness goals.
My kid loves summer camp at the Y too.

What do you like about your Y experience?

Trevor is a great trainer. The personal training at the Y is honestly why I go there the most. Please keep the trainers and offer incentives for them, I know you compete with other gyms etc. but this such a valuable service.

As I've told you several times, the Y is EXCELLENT FACILITY for relaxing , fitness, meeting new and old friends. The staff at most locations I have visited are knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to assists.

Hours are great . Staff is very courteous and personable while maintaining their professionalism. The facility is always cleaned and well maintained. A nice family atmosphere without the "gym" mentality. They communicate well , there is a good flow of information.

Not crowded when I workout, good parking, pool is always clean and kept organized. Lifeguards very friendly and observant to wants happening in pool.

All the instructors from the Group Exercise classes I attend are great and the staff in general is welcoming. As a working mom I'm happy to have Y in Catonsville to utilize!

What do you like about your Y experience?

I love the YMCA. I do wish that the hours for the stay and play were longer in the mornings/afternoon but I still love it! The people that work in the Stay and Play at the Catonsville location are AMAZING with my boys (both special needs). I would love to see more fitness machines and the numbers to match the activity app. The Catonsville location is missing a machine that works the back of the legs and butt. I would love to see more ab machines (rather than one). There is only one stair machine and I would love to see one more. LASTLY (LOL) more summer programs and kid programs for low income families to participate in.

What do you like about your Y experience?

Love the Y at Catonsville. Less crowded than other Ys which I enjoy. Stay and Play is always open - very rarely a wait. And I like the machines Catonsville offers. I hate the new treadmills most of the Ys have updated to and love the ones Catonsvile still offers. If you all are thinking of updating your machines - dont! I'd rather that money was spent on a renovation to the building - like adding a sauna or a steam room. Finally - staff is always very friendly and whenever I've had an issue, they've resolved it quickly.

42 years of training and this Y has all the equipment I need for my family. Very friendly place to go and very clean as well!

What do you like about your Y experience?

I believe in the Y's mission to make emotional, mental, and physical health accessible to everyone. The Y also does an outstanding job of maintaining their facilities. Excersize equipment is up to date, locker rooms are clean, and the entry spaces are neat and attractive! Going to the Y has always been a great experience.

What do you like about your Y experience?

I have a great personal trainer (Karl Leard) who is knowledgeable and supportive. I also appreciate the services the Y offers to the community, including the child care programs, the Teen Leaders group and sports programs for kids.
