What do you like about your Y experience?

I did write a few months back in a bit of a complaint mode. I have pts. that have complained to me frequently about "the Y". Most recently someone told me of her brand new Christmas present coat being snatched/stolen off the hooks in the bike area, never to be seen again. Why do people do that? Maybe they were cold.....and poor....I hope, b/c no other reason makes sense. Anyway, since I wrote before I have noticed a significant improvement in front end workers being sincerely friendly and welcoming!!! Yeh!!! Thank you! They have assisted me with new and ever changing class schedules and responded to hasty requests on my part of "family pool time"? So the customer service has improved. I have also enjoyed with curiosity the new class, NIA, in that it is different and providing some diversity and dare I say "hip ness" to Catonsville. Its not my favorite class, personally, but I thought worth mentioning as I appreciate it. It takes a long time for people to start a routine and then stay with it, so consistency with class schedules and substitutes when possible is also helpful. Respect and manners for our elder population and our youngsters too will keep people coming.... Thanks for asking.

I feel so comfortable leaving my children in the Stay and Play, and that is HUGE! The employees are compassionate and competent, they sometimes are doing crafts with the children, and they keep the area clean and organized.
The classes are for any level, and the equipment is good for me! I love my Y!!!

Even when the Y is crowded, there are always enough machines to use. The classes I have attended have all been good. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

My wife and I wanted our toddler to attend a top notch Pre-K program and the Catonsville Y delivered!

The entire staff are amazing, professional and genuinely care about our son.

Our son has learned a lot (including how to swim), made great friends and has a great time at the Catonsville Y.

We definitely would recommend the Catonsville Y to anyone looking for a great Pre-K program.

The staff at the Catonsville Y are always friendly and helpful. While busy, the Y is seldom so crowded that I can't take advantage of the equipment or pool.
