My stylist was amazing this last visit. She paid attention to small details the entire times she was cutting my hair and it was obvious that she cared about how the cut looked. She also gave me the best shampoo/scalp massage that I've ever gotten. I made sure to get her card on the way out.
There is often very different degree of competency among hairdressers. Be more consistent.
