BUT I HATE THE NEW TV'S ON CARDIO EQUIPMENT. yOU CAN FIND LOTS OF SITUATION COMEDYS OLDER THAN ME, BUT WHY AREN'T THE TAMPA STATIONS LOCATED TOGETHER? YOU CAN FIND CNN BUT NOT FOX NEWS.

I play racquetball, my wish is to continue the sport with friends I met over the years. The YMCA is one of the few places to still play.
Love the staff, love the people, love the gym, and love the other amenities.
I do want to suggest an improvement though… Sundays during the adult volleyball time (3 to 5) I always feel bad that the high school age players do not have a time frame to play in at their skill level. The adults only have 2 hours during the week so I understand wanting to have our small slice of time for volleyball, however, the teens don’t truly get to play their level when there are kids playing at a beginner level during all the other open volleyball times. Could Sundays be broken up into 3 time frames with the earliest one for 10 and under, the second for ages 11 to 17, and the last for adults 18+. I think if the adolescent and teens have their own time frame with no adults it should be considered fair, but I’ve heard arguments that it isn’t fair the adults can play in all the timeframes and the teens get cut out of that one and most can play at an adult level. Just an idea, I don’t have a great solution but it is always a point of contention every Sunday.

It is a wonderful facility. Lots of opportunity for activities, for all ages and stages. Staff is very thoughtful and dedicated.
Great place that fosters physical and emotional wellbeing. Great instructors and wonderful programs. Many activities conducive to build community. I highly recommend the Y to anyone wanting to improve physical activity and build a support system.

The staff members helpful and friendly. The facilities always kept clean and restrooms are clean.
I love the Y. Classes are great! The only reason I did not give it a ten is because a large numbers of members spend too much time on their cell phones and hold up others from using equipment. The same ones also never wipe down equipment after use forcing others to clean equipment before and after their use. The classes are taught by caring and qualified instructors. I cannot say enough good about them.
People need to accept that a membership to the Y is a privilege. Rules are a condition of membership and should be respected because they affect all members and applies to everyone.
Instructors are phenomenal; wide range of activities throughout the day; and weight room has a variety of equipment and knowledgeable instructors. The entire center is always clean and has a friendly vibe.

There’s something here for everyone. I’m able to take my son to the open gym, take him to class then go workout for myself. I truly appreciate the childcare and how well my children are cared for.
People are super friendly and the group classes are doable and effective. Love them!
