Good fitness classes and friendly people
The staff is very friendly especially Stephanie and Cyndi. Always ready with a smile, a listening ear and encouragement. I take SS classes and am enjoying the variety of instructors who bring different styles and flavor to class. Diana is fabulous. Hard and challenging. Craig is good and seems to be new at SS. Very endearing. Mary is happy and positive although not a good fit for me. I used to teach SS classic Zumba Gold and line dance and it is important to keep the rhythm and momentum of the class going. Sweet Mary pauses a lot and breaks the flow.
Of course Suzanne and Tabby are always fab.
All are doing a great job plus the facility is always clean and neat.

great staff and instructors. Was at Saturday May 16, 2026, 830 spin class. No instructor showed up and no one from staff informed attendees the class was cancelled or not happening. Need better communication as i receive updates in morning when classes are cancelled that day or even night before if early.
- There are signs around no flip-flops, slides etc., only sneakers.... i understand there's probably an insurance requirement, however, no one monitors the situation. Does not effect my workout...
- Please monitor cell phone use while on universal lifting equipment. Way to many people taking over 9 minutes to complete 3 sets. I ask if i can work in and get, i only have one set remaining...
- Other Y's in the tampa market have signs in men's room "NO CELL PHONE USE"... I don't see any in our Y...
In the big scheme of things the Y has to deal with, these are very small which means the Y is doing things right... Thank you

Low prices
Very good program for the kid to learn to swim! The only place that needs improvement is the cleanliness of the locker room.
My kid complained that she had to hold her nose due to the bad smell and toilets are very dirty to uses Hopefully there is way to add some cleaning crew to prevent toilet from getting blocked and floor gets wet and filthy. Considering facility’s senior condition, sewage or toilets there can easily get jammed or broke when a lot of people use them.
I feel the instructors are very knowledgeable about how to work with the children and get them comfortable in the water. In our experience our 3 year old grandson was swimming only after 4 lessons.
I always have a great experience there. The staff is helpful, courteous and always willing to help.
Zitla is a fantastic swim instructor! I think she could teach anyone to swim.
