I like the weight room
The check in process (with the new scanner) is really efficient now and reduces the stress everyone experienced previously with the old scanners that would not read phones very well.
Staff have done a better job limited hazards to kids in the machine area. Previously, staff in the back were hanging on their cell phones while unsupervised children tried to use the machines. Very dangerous for the kids and a huge stressor for those of us who would see it and feel responsible for the kids' welfare. A trainer or other staff member who sits on their butt while kids are "playing" on the machines should be counseled once and fired the second time it happens. Seems like someone has gotten the message (we are hoping) as staff now seem to be screening kids out better and making sure they are trained to know how to use the machines.
Front desk is usually cordial with the exception of one young woman who shall go unnamed at this time. BUT, it seems like such a small thing to explain to front desk staff how important it is to greet people as they arrive and check in. Just basic customer service and relationship management. Should be emphasized because it's not like they have much else to do at the front desk.
Overall, a nice place, with good equipment, and (largely) caring, cordial people working there. Thank you for upgrading the technological and social environment over there!

Very polite employees, the place is always clean and my grandson loves stay and play. The young employees in there crack me up they are so helpful even when I have my glasses. Love them.

Cleanliness and the instructors’ expertise
Gym is always clean and fresh. Equipment has consistently been updated and fixed quickly if issues. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Gym is very community based and wanting to reach out to as many as possible. I love that it’s a part of the global network and can visit all the Y’s in the US. It’s always looking for ways to grow.
This is a great place to enjoy our time with friends. It is my wonderfull time. Thanks to the staff

It was clean and well organized and the pool is very kid, adult and disabled friendly. I didn’t like the lifeguards constantly blowing Thor whistle at kids barely doing anything wrong and mostly at black kids, fix that please!!!

The Y is super family-friendly, offers a variety of activities for all ages, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the entire facility is very clean.

The staff at the NTYMCA is always awesome. I have really never had a negative experience in all these years as a member of NTYMCA, and that includes a couple teenagers who have had years of positive youth basketball experiences.
