Great classes, great instructors, and great friends
I'll start with I would only recommend it to a limited number of very close friends that it may be convenient for. Thy gym's allure is that it is never too busy. Rarely, if ever do I have to wait for a machine or can't find space to complete my workouts on my timeline.

We love the Y. We love that it’s so family friendly! We see that this Y works so hard to keep improving and adding things for its members which we greatly appreciate. We recommend this Y specifically to everyone we know including parents. The staff is all very friendly, especially the lifeguards. I love the new pool floats, the playground, the bathrooms and showers are always so clean also. I do have a few suggestions to share for additional improvements. For one, I’d love to see a wider variety of classes. Back in the day the Y used to do “random” classes that weren’t necessarily part of the usual schedule, but seasonal. For an example, tumbling, dance classes, adult jui jit su, etc. It would be awesome to see the Y implement a Salsa/Bachata dance class that is either included or an additional cost. Right now my husband and I would love to do classes like that together but we can’t due to the increased cost in childcare. If the Y could implement these things I think it would take it to the next level for parents who want to spend some time together doing an active activity while their kids are in a fun childcare setting that’s included in their membership. Maybe even some type of artsy class in your meeting room, etc. Another thing that would be cool is some board games for kids and parents to play together. Lastly, please improve the way that events are shared online. I only find out about things when walking into the Y. I think it would be very helpful to not just post the ad/flyer, but actually create an event that people can RSVP to so we don’t miss out. Or maybe send text notifications to those interested about events. We would love to attend more with friends but we never hear about them!

The Y is easily accessible. The classes aren’t overly full and there is not a wait for equipment. It would be nice if there were more early morning classes (7a).

The atmosphere is very friendly. There are a variety of programs and activities to choose from for both exercise and entertainment.
There are so many good things to say about the East Pasco Y. First is the People. All pleasant, helpful. The hours are amazing. I'm an early riser and during the week the pool opens at 6Am. So I get my day started. If the weather is too cold, I ride a stationary bike instead of swimming. I've been a member of the Y since 2005,Belonging keeps me moving.

I wish toddlers open gymnastics was available on a drop-in basis instead of having to pay for a full month.
There are so many different classes to choose from and I am really enjoying taking the barre class with Alli.
