It is close, clean, and not crowded. Staff and members are very friendly.
I do feel they should reward me when I got others to join the gym. I have gotten two other friends to join in the past month. There should be some kind of thank you.
The instructor is extremely knowledgeable and very much so technically sounds approach when conducting swim lesson.
Great environment! Staff is awesome! So many good things to say but for me personally my son got hurt one day an they were all over it making sure I had everything I needed!!!
Amazing coaches, patient, caring and motivating. My kid loves going to basketball! He is high energy and easily distracted, and the coaches to a great job at keeping him engaged but also at giving him beaks when he is overstimulated. Love it here!

Clean place, nice stuff.
It's always a wonderful experience! The friendly front desk staff always greet us with a kind smile. The stay and play teachers are wonderful! My daughter loves playing there, and I love knowing she's in good hands while I work out. Ms. Lindy and Ms. Bridget are exceptional and always make our experience a positive one. My small group training sessions have been incredible! Bruce is an awesome trainer. He is super knowledgeable and makes working out fun. I have learned so much from him, and it's been an absolute pleasure. Thank you to Bridget, Lindy, Bruce, and ALL the amazing people who make the Y a fantastic place to be!

Staff nice and very helpful
I was very impressed with how clean and immaculate. The YMCA was compared to the past a little disappointed in the decrease in yoga classes, and water aerobics. The Times have changed.
so far, everyone has been really kind and informative. no complaints here :)

Everyone from the front desk, to the personal trainers and class instructors has been superb - friendly, helpful, and professional. The various classes are awesome, they offer something for everyone. And the weight room is spectacular!!!
It is a very nice facility that offers so much for all ages. It offers a wide range of classes to meet all age groups supervised classes, it has knowledgeable employees working the floor to help you with the machines when you need help and great personal trainers if you desire personal one on one training. It has a lovely pool area and great supervised classes if that’s your need. It’s a great family oriented facility that participates in and with the surrounding community.

Just want to pass a quick note. As we have sports in the main Bob Sierra Y, I'm seeing unsupervised kids from basketball goofing in the ninja cage area and the cable machines area. Either the kids and/or patrons are going to get injured. I'm not seeing Y staff walking around, especially when there's a commotion happening. There's a bunch of irritated patrons, if you can read faces. Also, there's the usual teens goofing around in the weight room and cable machines areas. Please remind them this isn't a social gathering area.
Finally, there's a young member taking videos of himself in the weight room. He has a tripod setup. While the camera is recording him, members might walk into the background. What is the Tampa Y policy on recording workouts? If it is allowed, how do patrons who value their privacy get a workout without wanting to be near any such recording? BTW this member records videos and puts them on social media as he has followers. I found out by talking with him.
Because the atmosphere is not like the commercial gyms. It’s a lot more privacy as people understand time at the Y. I love it. It is a hidden gym and hope it stays that way

Love the pool and workout space. Great equipment. The pool is great for families. We have multiple pools in our neighborhood and prefer to Y!
