It’s family friendly
This Y is clean, no smells no dirt. They offer many programs for a variety of needs. If you like using the weight machines as I do, they are available and also kept clean. If you want an exercise program those are available as well as the swimming pool. They also have a barbeque once or twice a year and other things. The location is good for me, and the senior citizens programs are wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I am 75 and use the lap pool at least 3 times a week to stay fit and keep the weight off. For many years, I enjoyed Jeannette Flom's 8 a.m. exercise class, even when I was commuting 80 miles a day to work.
I do have a suggestion for your program planners: My husband has a noncontagious lung disease, so we avoid indoor classes to avoid covid.
I liked an exercise class I saw taking place in a shaded area of the pool outdoors and would attend something similar during the months when the weather is cool.

Please upgrade the air conditioning in the men's locker room. The hot air from the new hand dryers makes it very hot in there. Thank you

The instructors are stellar, the facility is well maintained and the front deck personnel rock.
Firsts and foremost, the Y Staff is excellent. They are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging and professional. The facilities are getting old so upgrades are appreciated One thing that needs improvement is the supplies (paper towel and toilet paper) at the Northwest Y during the weekends. It seems as if the maintenance staff doesn't work on weekends and often, the paper towel holders and/or toilet paper holders are empty.
Good programs like what I use - Enhanced Exercise and Silver Sneakers. Knowledgeble and friendly staff. Friendly people.

Well I probably wouldn’t “recommend” anything bc we all go to Spurlino! We love it.
