Joe at the Waterloo Mathnasium has been both a great friend and teacher to my kids over the past three years. He consistently demonstrates patience in teaching and finding new ways to get the concept across to my kids. Highly recommend!

Our 16 year old grade 10 son found the sessions to be a huge help, especially with the confidence that is necessary to be successful! The staff is knowledgeable not just about math but understands the strategies necessary to be able to help students encode the mathematical concepts.

Our daughter is happy in Mathenesium and loves to go there, that is big for us because we want her to love math and understand it, it’s not about the grades, it’s about finding joy in something most people hate (numbers). Joe and his team are great and the prizes they offer for achieving results motivate kids a lot!

Mathnasium has been a great place for my teenage son. They are great people that approach math in a way that suits the students' way of learning. He can work with any of the tutors or only one. I recommend Mathnasium regularly to anyone I know who is looking for supports for their child's learning in math.

Mathnasium is a well developed Math learning center, not only for the kids who are struggling to learn the subject, but also for the kids who are very good in Math, Mathnasium can help them to reach their destination. Joe Ritsma and all of his teachers are very caring and try their best to help the students. They listen with great patience, all the students to guide them what is best for them. My son, who did not want to do practice Math, although he liked Math, after joining at Mathnasium, he is now practicing a lot and obviously his grades are changing.

This has been an amazing experience for my child. She enjoyed going and learning. Although we are currently on a pause to accommodate new courses this semester, we will be going back in June to get ready for the fall semester. I highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone looking for either a tweak to get ready for a new year, or for a child who is struggling with math. Well worth every penny!

Excellent program for the Ambitious student and overworked parent!!

My son who is in Grade 11 has not only enjoyed the tutoring sessions, but has progressed very well by attending Mathnasium. The people are amazing and engaging. The experience has been only positive.

Joe and the entire staff have been great ! My teen moved to quad semesters during COVID which has resulted in 8 months of no math between grades. My youngest struggled during online . Mathnasium has allowed them to work at their own pace while keeping up with their math skills . We have been very grateful to have the services of Mathnasium in our community . Thanks Joe and team!

My son loves the way he gets attention and support by the tutors at the centre, especially by Joe. the feels safe and confident to do the assigned tasks . The reward system is very much much motivating. This is the only academic space which he ever felt like going back again and again. I am seeing a sea of changes in his interest in Math.
