Continuity of care with the same staff. The kids are very comfortable, familiar, with Mr. Tyler and Mrs. Dawn as they are same staff from last year and during COVID care for essential workers. The children LOVE to swim and love to learn to swim even better! They love Ride Day and making crafts together

The school age program at J.P. Gills is the BEST! The staff is the so caring, kind, and fun. My child and I LOVE everything about the program. Everyone goes above and beyond to create a great learning evironment while having lots of fun. They keep the kids, active, learning, and engaged. My daughter loves all the fun crafts, games, and experiments. We are so blessed that she can attend a place where we know she is safe and cared for by people who have become just like family. Although we are living in a CRAZY time now; I'm so grateful that the staff has been successful in providing stability, consistency, and fun for my daughter.

My daughter enjoyed everything the YMCA had to offer during the summer from swimming to getting to know different kids communication skills they even provide lunch and snacks so it's a lot fun activities at the YMCA I promise you won't be disappointed and by the way they offer scholarships as well for funds and Parents who are low income like myself but I highly recommend the YMCA

My son likes going to aftercare early and likes staying late. He enjoys outdoor-time and group activities as well as indoor activities and recently released movies. my child has a good relationship with staff and other children. I fell my child's environment is safe and healthy.

YMCA not only provides before and after care for our children, they show interest in everything they are doing. They will assist the kids with homework and even inform me if they see an area in the curriculum where my child might be struggling. The Y also makes sure to keep up with the holidays and engages the kids to make art projects for their hard working families. So by the end of a long working day, I am greeted by my child who is excited to tell me all about her day and will proudly show me something she made with her friends in the Y. The Orange Grove Elementary YMCA has the best employees and I would like to see more YMCA staff at other school locations to be trained by the Orange Grove YMCA staff members.

I like that the program is available at the school. The kids are engaged in the morning and afternoon times. It was helpful to have services during the summer bridge program so that there was not a summer drop in learning.

Super fun for both of my boys. Love the homework time and outside time schedule. There are days that I’m asked by my 6 yo to come back later to pick him up.
