What do you like about our programs and activities?

Love the water exercises. Also enjoy being able to pick from a variety of exercises. Its great that I am able to try an exercise and then make up my mind if I want to continue or try another exercise that would suit my body or not.

Love the line dance classes. Jeanne is a Great teacher! So happy there are now 2 classes a week.....would love a Wed day class then I could dance Mon, Wed and Friday for exercise.

I was very impressed with the incredible number of options, classes, Personal Trainers available and also Masseuse on property as well. The availability of Water Aerobics, laps! Just Wowed.
Cybex Equipment too.

I can't wait to start my program next week. Friendly staff to help me get back on track after moving here.Thank you.

The Classes are very good at this YMCA! We especially like Bianca & Cameron in Combat class. The Gym is very clean and has a lot of training / workout options. There is a good number of Cardio Machines. We especially Love Jennifer, who we learned is retiring. She is a special part of the PH YMCA! Ron Huft is also a YMCA treasure. He can help you with any fitness goal as he has pretty much done everything. The staff at this YMCA is exceptional and always very friendly. The support by the community is also outstanding.

Silver sneakers classes the classic & water aerobics were all great with great instructors each time. Staff all were friendly. We were visiting for a month & have now moved on to another area of Florida.

I'm very frustrated that pickle ball courts are open only a few hours per week And you play with a group. I'd like to see it open all the time and you sign up for private court and also there is a pickle ball group playing...just like tennis is run at the north pinellas Y.
They have room to move the basketball court elsewhere And have designated pickle ball courts from 7am-9pm every day.
Also there seems to be a culture here that only one person per lane in the pool is acceptable when people at north pinellas we're friendly and will easily share a lane when it's crowded during lap swim. I observed a guy ask another to share a lap lane and the man in the lane ( not even doing real lap swimming, said no). The lifeguards need to speak up as two people can safely share one lane.
The workout gym is awesome with the many varieties of equipment.
Would like to see family pool open on weekends at least during the winter and not just open during summer camps ... People should be able to enjoy that amenity throughout the year.
Overall, love the Y!

I love the pool. It has a lot more lanes for lap swimming and the hours are very compatable.

We’re winter residents of the area and have enjoyed the variety of programs the Y offers in adult group classes. The instructors are terrific and everyone at the Y is friendly and welcoming.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Love the workouts, there are great choices! Happy that there is great times to play pickle ball. I am just learning the game and very intimidated but people make you feel welcomed, and accepted.
