We want you to know that our staff at Lexington Y is friendly, helpful, and never grumpy!!! Our Y is run smoothly and efficiently. They keep us informed. The class is always on time and mostly full. I truly enjoy my membership.
I love the Body Pump classes. Been taking them for almost 2 years, 3 days a week and they really keep me motivated to stay in shape. I've met lots of new friends in my classes.
I like the available hours and the Matrix machine for doing cardio intervals.
I love the wide variety of fitness classes and the Stay and Play so that my kids are able to have somewhere to safely play while I workout.

I use the gym/exercise areas more than anything else, to improve my health.
I only use the gym and have a trainer and love it. I really don't socialize there. With all the covid going around again, I get in and get out as quickly as possible and try to maintain safe social distance from everyone. I don't take classes or do any of that other stuff and have no inclination ever to do so.
All good . The new manager is perfect and upgrades have been needed.

You have the aerobic and weight training equipment I need, and decent changing facilities.
You've cleaned up the entire facility, particularly the Men's Room, taken down unnecessary wall dividers, replaced the outside shades, improved the appearance of the entry desk, added carpet, and in general given the facility a more professional and inviting look.

There is still much confusion and concern about the firing of the Exec Director and the Board of Directors in this community.

Group classes
I enjoy the group exercise classes. Wish there was more yoga, Pilates and other various floor exercise classes to choose from as everyone’s schedule varies with jobs, school and volunteer commitments.

AOA is a great class for my husband & me. One hour of instruction and execercise for older adults 3x weekly fits our daily need for flexibility and strength.
The YMCA has all of the equipment I need and hours that fit my schedule.

You can exercise independently or you can join a group program. We also have the option of a personalized private session with a trainer. A lot of community fellowship transpires at the Y embracing everyone who comes through the doors. Knee, hip replacements and other folks post surgery commiserate and cheer each other on in the recovery journey. Chad & his team are supportive, friendly and welcome suggestions and ideas! I am impressed with the new initiatives and enhancements Chad has implemented!
