I really enjoy taking Andrea and Leah’s Zumba Gold Class! Those two are great instructors! I love their music they pick and the dance moves, i like the Zumba Gold cause it is geared more for my age group, I have foot issues and I can’t do high impact moves. I also take Leah’s Zumba Gold Chair class which is good for working the core. I like the time slot of 9:30 and 10.
I enjoy the group exercise classes.

Step Class and Pump - Melanie, Madeline and Artie are awesome! We need the Sauna Back! I understand the need for COVID Protocols, however, if 500 people can cram into Walmart then how is it irresponsible to use the health benefits of a sauna or steam room in a healthy setting? Many other businesses have operational saunas and steam baths. More and more folks are getting vaccinated, and there can be sign ups just as there are for classes that allow for not having too many people in there at one time. I love the YMCA and am not going to stop coming, I would just really like to enjoy using the amenities that make it so wonderful.

Your staff are invariably friendly and efficient. The facility is always clean, reflecting well on the housekeeping staff. I always appreciate being able to walk no matter the weather.

They learn how to dance without investing too much money in costumes and dance attire. They always have fun each class!
The YMCA dance program at the Kirk Family Y is such a wonderful program. My daughter has been in the program for over three years now and has learned so much and met so many friends. Miss Julie, the lead teacher, is fantastic with the children and truly has so much passion for dance and teaching. We love the dance program and will continue to recommend it to friends and family and will continue to do it for years to come.
Julie is amazing. She has a way of reaching each child where they are and helping them to improve while gaining confidence.

Julie is very patient with the children and always promotes child centered songs, costumes, positive language, routines during class and dances that the children can accomplish at their age.

I don't have other dance experience to compare with but my three year old daughter loves coming to her class. Ms. Lisa is great with instruction and managing kids. One thing I wish would improve is cleanliness of the floor in the studio. Every time my daughter walks out, her pink tights and ballet shoes are black from dust.
The dance program is very well organized with knowledgeable, caring instructors and an amazing program coordinator. They focus on improving students' knowledge and technique, while also having fun, all while keeping the program low key, unlike some more expensive studios. It's a perfect nonstressful blend of enjoyment and learning.
Low key and cost competitive compared to other dance studios. Also a great variety of classes in the evening so working parents can actually have kids attend.
I like the feel of the classes, the way julie interacts with the kids, how she leads them and encourages them and has them encourage each other. The kids really get along well and feel welcomed and accepted. Overall the kids enjoy it, get a good workout and have fun! I also love how open julie and the team are to suggestions and ideas from the kids. WE LOVE Y DANCE!
