I've been a dog owner for over 50 years. I've seen a lot of pet care businesses throughout those many years, with the many dogs I've owned, and the dog business has evolved into a definite notch market. People who have dogs need to be able to take their companions to a place that truly is committed to the well being and care of their dog. There are times when I want my dog to have exposure to other environments that allow him to just have fun and to be able to socialize with other dogs , but in a Safe and supervised environment. Dogtopia fits my & my "Fury companions " needs perfectly. When my wife and I first visited the facilities of Dogtopia we were absolutely impressed. Finally, a very clean, huge and professionally operated dog care facility that I can honestly feel excited about taking my " Harley" ( minture golden ,wheaton mix)to, and being able to know that he's active and having a ball with other dogs, while I'm running errands or going to Dr. appointments . Im happy to have discovered Dogtopia and will look forward to Dogtopia supplying Harleys future daycare and boarding needs. We live over an hour away from Dogtopias Avenues Branch, but would drive even further to be able to feel good about the care he will get while in the hands of the staff at Dogtopia.

We only trust Dogtopia. Being new to Jacksonville we did a lot of research and tried out a few boarding places but there is nothing in JAX or the surrounding areas that compare to Dogtopia. The owners (Jay and Lynn) are the absolute best and they only hire the absolute best. The team Jay and Lynn have built is top-notch and most certainly what sets them apart. Your dog(s) will play all day (with a nap of course) AND you have the option to download the app to watch what they’re doing throughout the day. I’ve logged in from time to time to see the k-9 coaches blowing bubbles, throwing balls, having pool time in the outdoor area and my absolute favorite and most heart-melting moment after logging in is when I see a coach sitting with one of our pups providing one-on-one love. Pure love. Every employee adores dogs. The team sends photos via email of sweet moments and will promptly alert via phone if anything seems “off”... our oldest pup is just a big baby who would prefer to be lazy all day and our youngest pup is WIDE open. The Dogtopia team has been so patient and thorough throughout our many visits to learn WHO our dogs are and what works for them. They’ve done the same for me. We don’t have kids therefore our dogs are our kids and I’m what one would classify as a “helicopter” parent... Jay and Lynn have taken the time to get to know me and understand how, for lack of better words, paranoid I am. I promise that you won’t get this level of service anywhere. Being able to go out of town and have peace of mind (thanks to Dogtopia) is PRICELESS.
We were greeted warmly by staff and given a tour of the facility. Very clean. Dogs separated by size and could be viewed on screen as well as online. Our dog adjusted quickly and seemed reluctant to leave when we came to pick him up.

My fur baby Winston has been going here for almost a year now- I receive a red carpet treatment coming and going. I have also seen other customers receiving this exact treatment. Winston loves it here for a day and even overnight stays. He is excited every time we go. The handlers, staff and owners are top notch and seem like family to me and Winston! I highly recommend this facility to anyone and I share the experiences with my neighbors! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 10 stars is not enough

My dogs display intense enthusiasm when they realize that we are heading to Dogtopia of Jacksonville, at the Avenues, for boarding. When my dogs catch me filling individual meal bags with food, they begin to spin in circles and squeal with excitement until we arrive at Dogtopia. My dogs rush into the lobby and head straight for the door that leads to the play area, without hesitation. I am fortunate to have found a solid dog boarding and day care facility that values and cares for my dogs. I appreciate that every staff person is engaging, dog-loving, and human-friendly.
The staff is amazing and the owners are so wonderful! Crosley begs to go to daycare every morning and comes home warn out in the evenings. ❤️

Dogtopia is my bulldogs' favorite place in the world! The staff is nice and caring and goes out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience!
Our first experience was a great! The staff were very friendly and professional. I could tell that they were happy to help and great with our dogs. The facility was very clean and everyone was attentive to our dogs and that this was their first time there and making them comfortable. Looking forward to many days of fun play for our to fur babies.
