I use the gym sometimes, the environment is clean, and the attendant is very helpful. The patronage in the pool has increased, thus getting lanes when one needs them sometimes is difficult. Overall, the pool services have improved.

Gym, sauna, jacuzzi
I enjoy the available swimming lanes, whirl pool and sauna. The weight machines and exercise bands, balls are also enjoyable. The personnel in the weight room ave very helpful in understanding proper use of equipment. Pickleball activities are fun to take part in.
Always interesting programs for both younger and older participants. Regular, reliable programs and activities continue and new things are often tried. The facility at Wade Walker has been well-maintained over the years and recent changes are a noticeable improvement that has made it even better. Staff has always been helpful, courteous, and professional.
I don’t participate in any of you activities as of yet I come there to swim and use your track and gym facilities

I was looking for a facility that had a pool and a sauna and the Wade Walker YMCA was recommended. During my tour I was not told that the sauna was co-ed. It does not concern me that it is, I just wish that I was given a heads-up. I asked if someone checks to see if people showered before entering into the pool. I was told yes, but people are not being checked. I asked if people were allowed to walk into the sauna with their street shoes on, I was told no. But there is a woman who does enter the sauna with her street shoes on and a large backpack. I have also observed that people are allowed to walk very close at the edge of the pool with their street shoes on. Whatever the bottom of our shoes collects, it is deposited onto every other area that we walk on. Would someone please look into these concerns. I do enjoy the pool and sauna, and I hope that I can continue as a member of the Wade Walker YMCA.

It would be better if we could bring guests more than once a year. I was keeping my niece over the summer and was told I couldn’t bring her to the Y without her having a membership even though I have one of my own and she’s a minor under eight years old

Variety
Wade Walker has a lot of programs of interest. Time is an interest sometimes.
Friendly, helpful staff. Great pool with a consistent temperature for lap swimming.
The scheduling of activities and the availability
I like the time for Pickleball and I really love the walking track. I have not tried some of the classes but I saw them and would like to join some of the classes.
My family and myself like the outdoor and inside pools, the hot tub and the sauna.

Pros:
The variety of classes, the skilled instructors, the professionalism of the staff and instructors, and the variety of times offered. The cleanliness of the grounds outside and inside.
Cons:
My only concern is safety and security with lockers in the locker rooms, more needs to be done to prevent break-ins, provide more secure options and offer better peace of mind for users' belongings when using the lockers while in swimming or other water activities where you can't have your personal belongings with you.
I have enjoyed several of the class
I really enjoy the aquatics programs, especially the water aerobics classes with Mookie.
There are great programs and activities to choose from, and it’s very family-oriented. I can get a good workout in while my child is safely cared for in the daycare.
Cleanliness and equipment setup availability, along with the helpers, are very dedicated and supportive.
They start and end on time and the facilitators are courteous and professional.
Never tried any activity
I love the classes, how clean the facility is, how professional the staff is..and most of all, I love the community feel that Wade Walker Y has. It’s one of my favorite places.
The other members. Friendly and helpful. The atmosphere most of the time. Need to work on helping young adult men on basketball courts know their value and to not demean themselves or others by referring to each other using the N-word. It's not acceptable in the Y and in our community.
